Holy Holy Day - Commemoration of the Civil War Battle of Nantwich
with a spectacular re-enactment by members of the Sealed Knot.
This is a big event and is held on the nearest Saturday to
January 25th. The Sealed Knot re-enact the skirmish between the
Royalists and the Parliamentarians on Mill Island. About 250
take part and thousands from all over the country turn out to

Nantwich Blues and Jazz Festival - Bands from all over the country converge on
Nantwich for a great week-end of music and entertainment. In
addition to the organised events, they fill all the local pubs
and entertainment places and are always keen to play a few tunes
and make some sort of vocal sounds! |

Reaseheath Open Weekend
- Reaseheath Cheshire College of Agriculture's Hall and Lakeside
gardens are open offering a range of exhibits, demonstrations
and activities. This venue can also be visited at 'lambing' time
- normally sometime in March. |

World Worm Charming Championship - An unusual and unique event where worms are
charmed out of the soil by over 200 competitors from all over
the world using some weird and wonderful methods!. This event is
normally held at Willaston County Primary School. |

Nantwich and South Cheshire Show - An extremely interesting one-day agricultural
show. The show includes an international cheese exhibition that,
with over 1500 exhibits, is believed to be the biggest of it's
kind in the world. |

Nantwich Folk & Roots Festival - Another long week-end of music and traditional Morris
dancing with something for everyone. Dance groups from all
over the country converge on Nantwich for this real festive and
entertaining weekend. Dancing normally takes place in the market
square. |
