Details of Service I served as a regular in the
Royal Corps of Electrical and Mechanical
Engineers (REME) from 1963 until 1972. During
that time I completed four and a half years
in Germany and the remaining years in England. I
was an Electronic Control Equipment Technician (ECE)
and most of my friends knew me at that time as 'Sandy
Sandland' (some people called me other things,
but I do not intend to print them!).
