I am searching for
PALS from REME WW2 who may have known my father Richard (Dick)
Brown from Rusholme, Manchester 1912-1971. He was a
driver/mechanic and served in the 8th Army in North
Africa/Italy/Belgium. I should like to hear anything at all that
anybody who knew him can tell me about that time in his life.
Kind regards, Gordon Brown. |

I am trying to
research my Dad's Army days. I know he was in Malaya in 1948 and
attached to a Gurkha section. He used to drive a bulldozer! His
name was Gerry Armstrong and he originally came from Warrington
but later lived in Lincoln. Any information would be gratefully
received. Sadly my Dad passes away in March 2006 and he never
really talked about his days in Malaya that much. |
