Message: I am searching for PALS from REME WW2 who may have known my father Richard (Dick) Brown from Rusholme, Manchester 1912-1971. He was a driver/mechanic and served in the 8th Army in North Africa/Italy/Belgium. I should like to hear anything at all that anybody who knew him can tell me about that time in his life.

Message: My Grandfather Sgt James Albert Williams was in the Black Watch from 1945-1968 he travelled to Korea, Kenya, Berlin, Germany and Cyprus with his wife Elizabeth and five children, Elenor, Victor, Elizabeth, Christine, Julie. I am try to track down anyone who has know this family. In particular Sgt Major Denis Gilles and Betty Giles, Jean and Duff Henderson. My grandmother Elizabeth is returning to England from Australia in 2008 and would love to make contact with her past as my grandfather passed away some time ago. Any help would be appreciated. Message: My grandfather Roy Irvine was at Moascar camp training in late 1917. He was in the Australian 7th Lighthorse Regiment and later transferred to 2nd Machine Gun Squadron. If anyone has any maps of where this camp was and any information about the camp in WW1, it would be of great help. Please email me.

Message: I am trying to research my Dad's Army days. I know he was in Malaya in 1948 and attached to a Gurkha section. He used to drive a bulldozer! His name was Gerry Armstrong and he originally came from Warrington but later lived in Lincoln. Any information would be gratefully received. Sadly my Dad passes away in March 2006 and he never really talked about his days in Malaya that much.
