From: Charles Adams
Subject: REME
Message: Hello all. I am trying (covertly) to trace friends and old comrades of Derek Taylor who served in Egypt as an Armourer Sgt / SSgt REME. Derek is a close neighbour and a good friend and I would like to surprise him with some contacts (but no unexpected surprises!). Derek recently received his GSM Suez, he was a National Serviceman who signed on for (I believe) - 5 years). Any clues gratefully followed up. All the best, Charles.

From: Patricia Kelly Re. Capt Michael J Kelly
Subject: REME
Message: I am trying to find out more about my granddad. His name was Captain Michael James Kelly and he was in REME. He was also a boxer and keen amateur photographer and I have a photo of him in a boxing team in Singapore, August 1951? He was also in Germany. I know he is buried in Aldershot as he was killed accidentally by another soldier during some kind of target practice. He was 37 when he was killed and had a wife Catherine and a daughter Patricia Anne and a son Michael. I would love to hear from anyone who remembers him. Would also love to hear any boxing stories and see any photos there may be of him. Also could anyone accurately recall the circumstances of his tragic death as I only have a vague outline. I know it's a long shot as he was killed in 1967 and I want to thank you for taking the time to read my message.
