Message: Hello all, I'm looking for any info from anyone who drove or has pics of a Daimler Ferret (01 DC 32 ) which entered service in '68 and served with REME , 17/21 Lancer ,16/5 Lancer in NI,71 Engr Regt,225 FD sqd R Mon ,then ended it's military life at SEME BORDEN as Trg aid back in '93. I have acquired the said vehicle as a restoration project and would love to see pics of it when it was in service as im trying to put it back to its original form. i.e Not full of Bullet holes and rust . Even celebrated my trip out of the UK on the Troopship Nevassa to Port Said via Algiers and Tobruk in 1953 with a trip this year from Southampton to New York with the QE2! Quite some difference!
